The major news for the next few days began Saturday, July 25th, with an aspect between intuitive Neptune in fiery Aries as it creates a sextile with Pluto in humanitarian Aquarius. In this scenario, don’t expect gentle hand-holding to support brotherhood and peace. This is a different type of humanitarian action with a bit more fire at its core. In this iteration, the energy demands justice and action to protect human rights.

On Sunday, July 26th, Saturn in fiery Aries, known for being a standard bearer for following set methods with the gusto of a gaggle of highly trained Marines, positions retrograde demanding that everyone rethink, revise, and redo those aforementioned rules and regulations!

Monday, July 27th greeted us with the life changing repositioning of Lunar nodes. Hello, Dear Readers!

Over the first eight days of this forecast (June 21-28th), the energy of this period could lull you into complacency. Many communities are enjoying the beginning of summer vacations and the start of the hazy-lazy days of summer.

Well, may I suggest that the last two days of this forecast period (June 29th and 30th) will deliver a one-two punch which will be anything but lazy or hazy!

On June 29th, Mercury in Cancer shifts into a retrograde position, remaining there until early August. The retrograde is not awful in itself, but it will necessitate that certain situations you thought were cemented into position demand review, revision, and restructuring.

Simultaneously, excitable, high-energy Mars in Gemini, which in itself makes everyone prone to slightly nervous responses to stimuli of any kind, will take center stage. Mix in the culminating Full Moon in Capricorn, urging the need to close the chapter on issues, while Mercury in retrograde will be sending the message that something, almost anything, has been left undone and needs revision!

On June 30th, the final shift occurs as Jupiter moves into the dramatic, creative sign of Leo, in which it will remain until late July 2027. I predict the fiery placement in expansive Jupiter will pour accelerant into situations waiting to ignite for better or for worse. At the very least, these transits will create renewed interest in the dramatic aspects of personal and public relationships.

Therefore, I suggest that the best use of this period is to focus on organizing projects and the details of daily life from June 21st to the 28th. I might add that paperwork shoved into the dark, dusty regions of your desk needs to be addressed, while many of the personal planets are remaining parked in cozy, comfortable, and calm signs of Cancer or Taurus.

Thinking practically and working on tedious but important issues will pay off big later in the month.

There you go, I said it, you heard me correctly. There is be a disconnect between the crazy, mixed-up situations flying through our hyper-kinetic techno-based world and what we will be experiencing over the early weeks of June.

In fact, don’t be surprised if life in general starts to feel like a slow-motion reel. For example, imagine your busy life being halted during a winter vacation when you are given an all-expenses-paid trip to a rustic cottage in Canada. The entire place is solar-powered, heated with firewood, and lit by candles. Additionally, you are invited to cook on a wood stove and entertain yourselves with books and games, because there is no Wi-Fi.

The plane back home arrives in two weeks, and until then, you are asked to live with yourself in a very contemplative fashion. Simply put, this is the condition we face over the next few weeks without the plane ride and roaring fire.

June 2nd, the Gemini Sun casts a supportive glow over practical yet inventive Saturn in Aries, providing purposeful guidance and an opportunity to negotiate everything from a salary increase to a better car deal.

Hello Everybody!

Over the last few weeks, many of my friends have commented on the hectic pace, which, combined with drama, has impacted their lives. The good news is that many of the planets have moved into signs that have slowed the pace, yet left us wondering what all the noise was really about. This week’s forecast may answer some of those questions as news percolates to the surface, delivering explanatory information that may fully describe personal and public attitudes over the last few months.

Over the upcoming week, we can expect a palpable twist and turning of the screw as personal and public issues start to fester and rise into the light of day. On Sunday the 24th, the glow-up from the intellectually charged Sun in Gemini sextiles intuitive Neptune in Aries. During this period, expect the energy of change to challenge the status quo attitude of silence in order to maintain decorum.

On Tuesday the 26th, the energy around us burns red-hot as incidents of repressed frustration begin to erupt in all directions, like a volcanic eruption. Mars in Taurus squaring Pluto in Aquarius, sets the stage for a dramatic expression of exasperation and sadness. This is a transit that can take many forms, and I would strongly suggest staying clear of crowds, angry shoppers, and relatives asking your opinion on their cooking skills (just kidding).

The astrological transits of this week can be summed up with one word: incredible! A general shift is occurring that will bring a subtle calming influence to our lives.

On Friday, May 15th, the Sun in Taurus conjuncts Mercury in Taurus. This aspect places a strong emphasis on using practical logic to manage and control problems. In addition to this very grounded yet intellectually expansive transit, we can look forward to an even more dynamic Super New Moon at 26 degrees of Taurus.

In this instance, the emotional reverberation of this new Moon could be felt for several days, with the emphasis on everything creative and nurturing that ushers in a new start to something special, depending on the area of your astrological chart that it highlights.

On May 17th, Mercury in Gemini conjuncts Uranus in Gemini. During this period, communication of inventive ideas and activities becomes the central focus amidst some new event or project.

The second leg of this transit occurs on May 22nd when the Sun in Gemini makes a conjunction to Uranus in Gemini. In this case, the Sun, in powerful alignment with Uranus, can positively advance Uranus’s genius through science, the arts, politics, and a host of other fields that encourage inventive, think-outside-the-box innovations.

These two transits definitely support the advancement of a cause, personal project, or innovation that demands tactical communication and the support of deep pockets, powerful leadership, and, most obviously, a sound, practical plan.

There are five major transits that flavor this forecast period in a very dynamic fashion, so let’s dive right into the details. On May 1st, we will all experience a passionate, emotive, and deeply soulful Full Moon in SCORPIO! This Moon is the culmination of several weeks and months of working on an important project or personal issue. We could see the results of something very important that affects us all on a deeply personal level. Scorpios can be very dramatic and passionate in general, but the energy swirling around during this particular Moon cycle can be intense to say the least.

The influence of this Moon can reverberate for more than a few days, so be aware that everyone around you could be feeling the impact, and some folks could demonstrate over-the-top hysterics in situations that may appear to be completely manageable most of the time.

As if this transiting Moon wasn’t dramatic enough, we will experience two other transits that can create high drama under the right set of circumstances.

During this period, we simultaneously experience Venus in Gemini as it sextiles Saturn in Aries. Emphasis is placed on practical applications toward building a greater commitment to something – anything – such as a partnership, gym membership (just kidding), or personal improvement scheme. Lastly, steamroller Pluto in the inventive sign of Aquarius has been knocking down structures faster than you can say “boy howdy” and has thankfully moved into a retrograde period until October 17th of this year. I really like this because the retrograde period will give “the powers that be” ample opportunities to “rethink, review and remake”. Hopefully, by October, new foundations of trust and support will move into position, allowing for clear-headed altruistic engagement to flourish.
